Influenster Brita Long Last VoxBox

I am a proud member of Influenster which offers free products to its members based on their social media presence in exchange for feedback and honest reviews.  If selected for a VoxBox, they will send you the product(s) and then there will be a campaign on your dashboard with the required and optional activities for you to complete.  If you complete all the required activities you will receive a badge.  You will get an additional badge for the optional activities as well.  Obviously, the more you participate and share on social media the more VoxBoxes you will be selected for.

My review of the Brita LongLast Filter:

I love the Brita long lasting filter!  I always forget to change the filter in the first place, so now that they made one that lasts 6 months it is perfect for me!  I also have a pretty old Brita filter and it fit perfectly. (See Picture) The sticker for the gauge didn’t match up, but the normal gauge on the top of my pitcher seemed to work still.  It is a great value as well.  Usually, a 3 pack costs about $20 which lasts 3 months.  So getting one filter that lasts 6 months for under $20 is an AWESOME value!  Plus, the fact you do not have to remember to change it every month saves you time, which is enough value for me!  I did receive this filter complimentary from Influenster for my honest review.  🙂

Moms Meet Review – Once Again Nut Butter

I am part of a fabulous community of moms who are on a mission to provide the best healthy and natural products to our families.  As a Moms Meet Ambassador and Blogger, I host a moms group once a month and have the opportunity to try out products with my group for free.  Some products I also review here on my blog.  I was lucky enough to be accepted to do a blog review on the new Once Again Nut Butter.

The kit I received from Moms Meet was fantastic and included a reusable grocery tote, cute and fuzzy raccoon stuffed animal, an activity book, and four (4) jars of different nut butter in a beautiful box!  (I definitely kept the box and will be reusing it as a gift box in the future.)  I love the kit and was very excited to try out the different flavors I received.  The four (4) jars of nut butters I received were Sunflower Seed Butter, Roasted Almond Butter (my favorite!), Creamy Cashew Butter, and American Classic Peanut Butter.  The nut butters are all Non-GMO, Certified Organic, Gluten-Free, Vegan, and Kosher!  The ingredient lists are simple, short, and have no crazy preservatives or unnecessary additives.  They have many other varieties of the flavors I listed as well as honey and packaged nuts, so check out their full listing of products here.

 

The jars are made of glass and have very cute packaging.  The story behind the raccoon logo/mascot is also printed on the jars and is a very sweet story. I also liked that the jars have a place to write when you opened the jar.  The kit also included recipe cards with great ideas for all their nut butters, plus there are even more recipes listed on their website.  My favorite recipes were all the smoothie ideas and I ended up coming up with a couple of smoothie ideas myself to try out with my nut butters in my kit.

My favorite smoothie creation was a creamy berry smoothy made with the creamy peanut butter, frozen berry mix, some Almond Silk Milk, and a little organic honey for sweetness.  The Once Again Nut Butter peanut butter really gave it some richness and creaminess.  It was delicious!  I also made another creation with some almond nut butter, Almond Silk Milk, some ice, and some chocolate protein mix all blended together for a peanut butter chocolate protein smoothy.  The possibilities are endless!

Chick-fil-A Upcycle Challenge

Chick-fil-A offers fast, yet healthy food options that your entire family will love.  I love how friendly and family oriented the entire organization is at Chick-fil-A.  You always leave smiling after going to a Chick-fil-A.  Plus, their food is AWESOME!

I was lucky enough to be selected to participate in the 2016-2017 Chick-fil-A Mom Panel and we were recently challenged to upcycle one of the soup bowls from their newly released Chicken Tortilla Soup.  I do have to say that the soup is not very “Traditional,” but it was still delicious.  They also come in great useable containers, which is the main topic of this post.  Their soup containers come with lids that secure very well and they are dishwasher safe.

There were a lot of great #chickfilamomsDIY ideas and below was what I came up with…

 

My #DIY Wet Cat Food Container

I don’t know about your kitties, but mine never finishes an entire can of wet food.  Then I end up wrapping the extra in foil and putting the stinky food in my fridge.  For my #chickfilamomsDIY, I decided to turn my soup container into a kitty “To-Go” box, so I can store her leftover wet food securely and smell-free in my fridge.  To make your own kitty food “To-Go” box, follow the steps below.

Materials You Will Need:

Empty and Cleaned Chick-fil-A Soup Container

Hot Glue Gun

Ribbon

Stickers (Pet Themed of Course!)

Letter Stickers

Creativity!

 

Step One:

Cover bottom part of soup container in a cute ribbon with a hot glue gun.

Step Two:

Add cute stickers to the top and sides.  Use the glue gun to secure the stickers if necessary.

          

Step Three:

Add letters to spell out your kitty’s name.

How I Became A Super Saving Mom and How You Can Too!

For the past 8 years I have been searching the internet for the best resources on getting free samples, coupons, free products to test, making money from home answering surveys and such, free events to take Jordan to, free birthday clubs, restaurants that kids eat free at, and ways to get my everyday purchases at a discount.  After all my trials and errors, I have finally found the best of the best and compiled it all on my website and blog.  All to claim my title as Super Saving Mom and help other moms (and dads!) and moms-to-be to become Super Saving Moms as well!!!

Now, I’m sure everyone is worried about giving away their information just to get free stuff.  I also post my tips and suggestions so you will NEVER get scammed!  The best advice is to only go to the sites and samples listed on my website because I’ve already approved and tested them.  Nothing I post will ever be a scam.  Most scams ask for credit card information, personal information, contain pop-ups, series of surveys and questions, and/or require you to fulfill “offers.”  These are the things to stay away from.  My suggestion for those who don’t like spam or giving away personal information:  create a “Dummy” email account and never give out your real telephone number.  I usually use a different name as well.

Following my social media pages and advice will most definitely guarantee you will have a mailbox full of free goodies and multiple opportunities for free events happening around the nation!  I post my favorite offers on my Facebook and Twitter pages daily!
